Supported by the Canton of Fribourg, the MUSEAL project is a collaboration between the Le Système D association and DOK MOBILE. It aims to increase the presence of documentary films and artists' films within artistic and cultural institutions—museums, galleries, and cultural spaces—particularly in Fribourg and Switzerland.
MUSEAL is part of a desire to break down barriers between the worlds of art and cinema. Two worlds that, particularly when it comes to a filmmaker's presence on the contemporary art scene, often remain opaque to each other. MUSEAL's approach questions the status of audiovisual works today positioning itself in favor of an open and multifaceted definition, combining video art, animation, documentary, and fiction.
If you are an artist interested in collaborating with the MUSEAL project: You can contact us at museal@dokmobile.ch
If you are an institution, gallery, and/or exhibition curator: You can access the catalog of our films that we offer for MUSEAL via the link below.

It's already been ten years since Francesca Scalisi and Mark Olexa founded a production company that has made Fribourg a household name. With more than thirty films completed or in preparation, and dozens of awards, it's a model of independence and creativity. This deserved a beautiful bouquet: the stunning Valentina e i MUOStri, preceded by Between Tides, an anniversary screening to which will be added the (re)discovery, in VR, of Ligne noire.
7.30pm - Opening. It will be possible to view the film LIGNE NOIRE in augmented reality.
8pm - Screening of the short film BETWEEN TIDES (25', with French subtitles) by Mjriam Landolt and the feature film DEMI-VIE A FUKUSHIMA (61', with French subtitles) by Mark Olexa and Francesca Scalisi.
The three films address the theme of "Nature and ecological issues" from different points of view.
The screening will be followed by a discussion in the presence of the directors.
