Francesca Scalisi's Valentina e i MUOStri won two awards at the "Cinema Ambiente" Festival, which took place in Turin from June 5th to 10th, 2025: the "Premio ambiente e società" award and the "Riconoscimento speciale Gaetano Capizzi" for best film in the Made in Italy section. Congratulations to the director and the entire team involved in making the film!
After being selected for the national competition at the 2025 Visions du Réel festival, David Maye's intimate documentary "Les Papas" is set for cinema release starting Thursday, June 5th.

We are happy to announce that Baptiste Janon & Rémi Pons' feature film “Les Vies d'Andrès” has won the Jury Prize in the national competition at Visions du Réel.
Inspired by a novel by B. Traven whose protagonist, Andrès Ugalde, is a cart driver in early 20th-century Mexico, this film depicts his contemporary counterpart, truck drivers for a transport company in Europe. Caught up in a race for profit, “Andrès” is a cog in a system that, by exhausting its workers, exhausts itself.
According to the jury, “the film offers a poetic reflection on work, dignity and the silent erosion of humanity within the capitalist machine”.
LES PAPAS, a feature film by David Maye, and LES VIES D'ANDRES, a feature film by Baptiste Janon and Rémi Pons, are among the films in national competition at the Visions du Réel Festival in Nyon.
